Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know which level to start with?

Start with our “Debate Readiness Check” on the homepage. We also provide a short placement interview on request. If a cohort feels too easy or too hard in week 1, we move you accordingly.

Which formats do you cover?

We currently offer British Parliamentary, Public Forum, and WSDC-style argumentation modules. Core skills travel across formats, so you can switch tracks without losing progress.

What is the time commitment?

Most cohorts run 6–8 weeks with two 90-minute sessions per week. Expect 45–60 minutes of prep and reflection between sessions.

Do you offer private coaching?

Yes. Private coaching is available for tournament preparation, case files, and delivery. Contact us to match with a coach and set a schedule.

Are classes recorded?

Live classes are recorded for internal review and student playback. Recordings are available for 60 days post-cohort.

What is your refund policy?

Full refund before the first session. 50% refund after session one. No refunds from session three onward. Exceptions considered for documented emergencies.

Do you provide certificates?

Yes, completion certificates summarize outcomes and the number of adjudicated practice rounds. They are not academic credit or guarantees of results.

Is there an age requirement?

We recommend 13+ for group cohorts. Private coaching is available for younger students with a guardian’s participation.

How do favorites (“Fallows”) work?

Click “Save” in the catalog to add a course to your fallows list. Your selections live in your browser’s local storage and can be reviewed on the Fallows page.
